1. What the extension is
1.1 The Frank browser extension is published by 18009619 Canada Inc., operating as Frank ("Frank", "we", "us") on the Chrome Web Store. One extension serves two kinds of users: consumers browsing vehicle listings, and dealer representatives working a deal inside their dealership’s own tools.
1.2 For consumers, it shows a payment estimate and Frank comparison tools when you’re viewing a vehicle listing on a supported marketplace, and gives you a dashboard for saved vehicles and your garage.
1.3 For dealer representatives, it adds a docked deal-builder panel and reads data already visible in your dealership’s own tools — DealerTrack, OpenLane, CARFAX — to help you work a deal, on your instruction.
2. Installing the extension — your consent
By installing the Frank browser extension, you consent to it being installed on your device and functioning as described on this page, consistent with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requirement for consent to install a computer program. You can uninstall it at any time — see §7.
3. Permissions the extension requests
The extension requests the following browser permissions. None of these let it read or modify sites outside what’s described here — which sites it actually activates on is controlled by the supported- site list in §4, checked at runtime.

4. Sites the extension activates on
The extension’s manifest requests broad host access so it can detect a supported site — but it only actually injects its overlay or reads page content on the specific sites below, checked at runtime against a list Frank maintains centrally:

The extension does not activate, read, or modify content on any other site you visit.
5. Data the extension sends to Frank
5.1 Your sign-in token, so the extension can act on your behalf.
5.2 When you choose to save a listing, its identifiers (source URL, VIN, or stock number) — not a full copy of the page. Data the extension reads from a page stays in the extension until you take an action like saving it.
5.3 For dealer representatives: lender-decision data and applicant/consent information from DealerTrack, wholesale comparison data from OpenLane, and vehicle-history facts from CARFAX — only from tabs you have open, and only to support the deal you’re working.
5.4 Non-identifying usage information, like which supported sites you’ve visited and basic feature-usage counts.
5.5 How Frank uses, shares, and retains this information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Consumer use vs. dealer representative use
Which features you see depends on your account, not a separate install — a consumer sees the consumer dashboard; a dealer representative sees the dealer tools when working in their dealership’s workspace. Switching between a personal and a dealer workspace is a setting in your account, not a different extension.
7. Uninstalling
You can remove the extension at any time from your browser’s extension settings. Uninstalling stops all of the activity described on this page. Your Frank account and any data already saved to it (through the extension or the website) aren’t deleted by uninstalling — that’s covered by our Privacy Policy and Personal Rights Request Form.
8. Updates
We may update the extension from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or change which sites it supports. Material changes to what the extension does or accesses will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and a permission change that requires your re-approval will be presented by your browser at update time.
9. Relationship to our other terms
Using the extension also means agreeing to Frank’s Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy. Where this page describes something specific to the extension, this page controls; otherwise those documents apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
