1. The short version
Use Frank the way it’s meant to be used: to compare vehicles, get real numbers, and connect with dealers and lenders on your own terms. Don’t use it to harm the platform, other users, or the dealers and lenders we connect you with.
2. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Frank for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Misrepresent your identity, submit false information (including a false trade-in condition or lease detail), or access another person’s account without permission.
- Scrape, crawl, mine, or bulk-extract data from Frank, or attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting control.
- Interfere with the platform’s operation, overload our infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.
- Use Frank’s messaging (SMS, email, or in-app) to send unsolicited content to another person, or impersonate Frank, a dealer, or a lender in any communication.
- List a lease you’re not authorized to list, or misrepresent a lease’s payoff, term, or standing on the lease-transfer board.
- Use Frank to build a competing product, or resell, sublicense, or provide access to the platform to any third party.
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to create accounts, submit requests, or interact with dealers or lenders on the platform.
- Infringe the rights of Frank or any third party.
3. Prohibited content
Content you submit or upload to Frank — including photos, lease documents, messages, and listing descriptions — must not:
- Be unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or threatening, or contain hate speech.
- Contain malware, or a link intended to compromise another user’s device or account.
- Infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right — see our Terms of Service §11 for how to report this.
- Misrepresent a vehicle’s condition, a trade-in’s history, or a lease’s terms.
- Include another person’s personal information without their consent.
4. Security research
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability in Frank, we’d rather hear about it than have it exploited. Report it to privacy@drivefrank.ca or call 647-360-8580 before disclosing it publicly, and avoid accessing, modifying, or deleting data that isn’t yours while investigating. Good-faith security research conducted this way, without harming users or the platform, won’t be treated as a violation of this policy.
5. Enforcement
5.1 Violating this policy may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of your account, removal of content (such as a lease-transfer listing), and, where required, a report to law enforcement or the relevant regulator.
5.2 We may take these steps without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform or its users — for example, where content is fraudulent or someone’s safety may be at risk.
5.3 Where practical, we’ll tell you what rule was violated and give you a chance to respond before a permanent account action.
6. Appeals
If we suspend or terminate your account and you think it was a mistake, contact privacy@drivefrank.ca or call 647-360-8580 and explain why. We’ll review the decision.
7. Reporting a violation
If you believe someone is misusing Frank, contact privacy@drivefrank.ca or call 647-360-8580.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
