Mid-size Sedan · what it costs new, what it’s worth used, and who has one near you.

The 2024 Nissan Sentra is a mid-size sedan we track across the used market in Canada. It comes in gas (8.7 L/100 km) and hybrid (6.6 L/100 km) forms, so the main choice is fuel — the hybrid earns its premium back over enough kilometres. A 20-year-old one keeps roughly 5% of a current model's market price — what actually matters over five years of ownership.

Safety recalls
3 campaigns issued by the manufacturer
Air Bags · Frontal · Driver Side · Inflator Module
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Titan, Frontier, Infiniti QX60, Pathfinder, 2023-2024 Sentra, Versa, Kicks, Infiniti QX50, and 2023 Rogue vehicles. Due to a manufacturing issue, the driver's air bag inflator may absorb moisture, and cause the air bag to deploy improperly.
Campaign 24V154000
Power Train · Driveline · Driveshaft
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Sentra vehicles. The front left-side driveshaft may not be fully seated in the continuously variable transmission (CVT) assembly, or may have a loose or missing retaining clip, which can cause a transmission fluid leak and loss of drive power.
Campaign 24V304000
Visibility · Windshield
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2024 Nissan Sentra vehicles. The windshield may have air bubbles on the front lower driver's side, which can obscure the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."
Campaign 24V498000
Recall campaigns are manufacturer-issued and fixed free of charge. This is the US campaign set matched by year, make and model — it is not a check against a specific VIN, and Canadian campaigns may differ.
