Compact SUV · what it costs new, what it’s worth used, and who has one near you.

The 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport is a compact suv we track across the used market in Canada. It comes in gas (11.5 L/100 km) and hybrid (10.5 L/100 km) forms, so the main choice is fuel — the hybrid earns its premium back over enough kilometres. A 11-year-old one keeps roughly 19% of a current model's market price — what actually matters over five years of ownership.

Electrical System · Software
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020 Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque vehicles. A software error may cause the instrument cluster to randomly alternate the speedometer and odometer units between Miles Per Hour (MPH) and Kilometers Per Hour (KM/H) without driver input to the display unit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."
