Compact SUV · what it costs new, what it’s worth used, and who has one near you.

The 2020 Chevrolet Equinox is a compact suv we track across the used market in Canada. It's rated at about 494 km of electric range, so the real questions are price, charging and how it holds value. A 20-year-old one keeps roughly 5% of a current model's market price — what actually matters over five years of ownership.
Fuel economy & range: Natural Resources Canada (Open Government Licence — Canada). Safety recalls & owner-reported complaints: US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (public domain); complaint shares are a relative signal, not a failure rate. Campaign 20V668000
Fuel System, Gasoline · Storage · Tank Assembly

Campaign 19V667000
Service Brakes, Hydraulic · Foundation Components · Disc · Caliper
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Chevrolet Equinox vehicles. The rear brake calipers may have been produced with an incorrect lubricant, potentially causing the rubber seals to swell and the brakes to drag.
Campaign 19V704000
Child Seat · Vehicle Latch Anchor
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles. The four rear-seat lower child seat LATCH anchorage bars may have excessive powder coating, which could prevent a child seat from being installed with the anchorage bars. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."
